Courses on offer

This course focuses on the education of specialist teachers for ECD classes. The ECD programme runs as a quasi independent programme with its own curriculum. However, there are also other curriculum areas that cut accross the three courses offered at Masvingo Teachers' College.

This course focuses on the education of primary school teachers for Grades one to seven. The graduates from the General Course have the requisite competencies and expertise to teach all the grades of the primary school save for ECD A and ECD B.

This is a new mandate recently given to Masvingo Teachers' College. The STEP programme focuses on educating secondary school teachers who teach science subjects. Currently the STEP Programme is training Science, Mathematics, Geography and Agriculture teachers.
